Throughout this project I have learnt knew ways of looking and recording the environment that surrounds me. I have always looked for the aesthetic play light has on a building with creating shadows and highlighting the angles, but from going out and exploring the same area repeatedly I learnt to look at little details that appear at certain time of the day.

Time and light are starting to become prominent features in my everyday search for visuals. I'm starting to think of creating work that responds to the place and time directly, the art piece only becoming alive at a certain time.

This photo has captured the light reflections coming off from the windows of the surrounding windows. The idea of windows comes back into my work again, but I enjoy the light dispersion as it compliments the cloud dispersion.

Thinking about time and place I then started to use the windows as frame to capture the images. The idea of the image only being captured from a specific angle and moment really has started to inspire me.

DARK ROOM
From this project, I learnt how to use a dark room and from a happy accident got introduced into LUMEN PRINTING. The idea of recording and wanting to play with light has started me to experiment with lumen printing to find out what effects the colours created from this process.

A mixture of blues and pinks are created when Black and white photo paper is exposed to the light. The images have been created by laying acetate paper with printed images onto of the photo paper. When the paper is fixed the colours fade into more browns and yellows. From this is then experimented to find how varying strenghts of light affected what colours were produced.

The dark room light created the most pink tones, especially where the areas was darkest on the acetate image... something to keep in mind.
